Allowed & Prohibited Networks

CUSHELL supports only selected IRC networks through our free bouncer service. Limiting the list keeps quality high, prevents abuse, and ensures reliable connectivity across our infrastructure.

// legend

SSL

Encrypted TLS connection between bouncer and network — traffic can't be sniffed.

SASL

Authenticates before joining channels — hides the userhost via vHost / I:Line and prevents nick collisions.

Services

Network runs nickname / channel registration (NickServ, ChanServ, AuthServ, Q, etc.).

IPv6

Native IPv6 endpoint — required for our dual-stack routing.

// prohibited networks

Only the networks above are permitted. Connections to any other IRC network are not allowed on our infrastructure — this keeps abuse-vectors limited and lets us maintain quality peering with each supported network.

Think we should add a network? Get in touch — we consider additions on a case-by-case basis.
